Men Too

Domestic Abuse can happen to anyone regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, disability, wealth, gender identity and lifestyle.

The Men Too service recognises that domestic violence/abuse can affect men too and is available to all men; heterosexual and gay/bi male victims of abuse.

Service Includes:

Emotionl Support

Confidential Advice

Practical Support (legal, financial, housing, etc)

Legal Court Support

Other Outreach Services

We Also Offer Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) And Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) Services.

Our Independent Domestic Violence Advisors, (IDVA) attend the specialist domestic violence court each week and as a result we are able to support victims through the legal process, providing them with information on decisions around issues such as bail conditions and charges.

With an IDVA in place, the safety of victims and their children is increased and we are able to help them feel more confident in the Criminal Justice system.

Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) Service. This county-wide project is managed by Staffordshire Women’s Aid in partnership with other providers in Staffordshire.
